Frequently Asked Questions

The Centrist Party FAQ section is a collection of answers designed to address those questions most frequently received or deemed important to assist in understanding certain perspectives and current status of operations.

The Centrist Party (CP) FAQ's:

  1. Questions about Platform: The platform is a system rather than a set of issues (see Platform Guidelines). Issues will be included in the system but only when fully vetted. Subscribe to the newsletter for updates.
  2. Questions about Platform and Policy Development: Development is in process. While we are concerned with many issues, we do not release policy statements until a reasonable amount of research is completed.
  3. Questions about Candidates: The CP is developing a candidate vetting system and how to achieve state ballots. In the mean time we recommend supporting mainly independent candidates that do not take money form special interests.
  4. Questions about structural logistics: The CP does not provide logistic or information about internal operations, or members.
  5. Questions about financing: The CP complies with FEC requirements for reporting. Information can be attained from http://www.fec.gov
  6. The CP is against personal attacks. The policy is to address issues and policy stances rather than attack individuals. Facts in context regarding a policy position are used. Narrowly scoped perspectives that are used to spin facts out of context are not acceptable (see Platform Guidelines).
  7. The CP is about sensible administration of the public good without influence from special interests.
