Founders Statement
With the many challenges that are facing America and the world mainstream America is realizing that the polarization of the left and right political parties have become more of a hindrance to progress than a benefit.
By adding a strong foundation for centrist considerations and agendas, we can bridge the gap between the left and the right and give integrity to the centrist view, which has at its heart a greater sense of balance between the Republican and Democratic Parties. Independents have been greatly beneficial in this area, as well as Centrist Republicans and Democrats.
The Centrist Party has been founded to give America a political party that makes sense and a forum for the sentiments and direction of mainstream America. Most Americans want a choice that is not convoluted by partisan bickering and single minded agendas. The best way to achieve this is to have a party that enables a strong foundation for mainstream America to have a voice, without being controlled by special interests.
We have all seen the result of the Democrats and Republicans trying to work together to pass legislation that is meaningful. We have all seen the results of a one sided administration. We have all experienced the costs of swinging back and forth between agendas. What we haven’t seen is a true centrist view in the White House that is not weakened by the left or right special interests or agendas.
It is more important than ever for America to have a Centrist Party in order to move forward in addressing the current and future needs of the nation. It is reasonable to assume that a party that has its foundation between the left and the right will have greater success at providing reasonable pragmatic solutions.
